DNC is looking for an enthusiastic person willing to learn the trade skills of a Fitter and Turner in a full time position. Initially as a trainee with award wages and after a successful probationary period an apprenticeship  will be offered. You need to be either an Australian resident or citizen as TAFE training will be required. 

You will be taught manual methods of machining along with CNC training and operating modern CNC lathe and multi axis machining centre operations in our small but well equipped workshop in Wakeley, Sydney.

Computer programming of machines , computer designing of components along with day to day assembly of manufactured components in the Model Live Steam Hobby will be your challenge every day.

Your skillset currently should be good in mathematics and English understanding is essential. A drivers license will be required but most importantly a willingness to learn and take instructions and ask questions when in doubt.
